In 2009, Lake, Smit & Partners took the strategic decision to formally institute sub-specialisation in our Practice in order to enhance the service to our patients and clinicians by adding value to the radiology report. We identified 3 subspecialty groups, Body, Musculoskeletal and Neuroradiology, to best serve the needs of our medical community. This diagnostic expertise is complemented by our highly accomplished intervention team.
10 years on we are bearing the fruits of this initiative and our intervention team is one of the busiest in the country and is recognised as the premier Interventional Radiology (IR) referral centre in KZN.
